Welcome to Pack0
Most families start by coming to Join Night in September or by reaching out to say hello. From there, joining officially means registering with Scouting America and completing a few pack steps, covered in the list below.

Just have questions? Say hello and we will help you figure it out.
Steps to join
-
Register with Scouting America
Every scout starts with an official Scouting America registration. The Scouting America registration fee is $75 per year, paid directly to them when you register.

Pay your pack dues
Your pack's dues are $50 per year, covering Awards. With the Scouting America registration fee, that's about $125 per year all in. We will walk you through paying your pack dues when you join.
-
Get the uniform and handbook
A uniform and handbook get your new Scout meeting-ready. This step covers what we recommend, what is optional, and what the pack provides.
We will walk you through the rest, step by step, once you join.
Open to every K through 5th grader
Pack0 welcomes both boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We serve families across Wiggly, Georgia, mechanics and farmers, teachers and shop owners alike, and we welcome your family just as it is.
A steady rhythm your family can count on
We meet weekly on Monday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 PM during the school year at Wiggly Elementary. Meetings might mean building pinewood derby cars, swapping stories around a campfire, or working through badge requirements together. No scouting experience is needed, and parents, especially of our youngest scouts, stay and take part rather than drop off.
What dues cover
Dues run $300 a year total. The national portion covers your scout's registration with Scouting America and its accident and liability insurance, while the pack's share covers awards and other pack activities and supplies. We collect pack dues through Venmo, and if cost is a concern, just ask our Committee Chair about a scholarship.
Uniform and handbook
We recommend a uniform shirt, uniform pants, a hat and the handbook. The pack provides patches and a neckerchief.
Shop online at the official Scout Shop (opens in a new tab).
Ready to make it official?
Registering takes care of the official part. We will walk you through everything after that.
